Juice Therapy
1. Red Wonder
Ingredients:
80 ml Carrot juice
80 ml beetroot juice
100ml tomato juice
Ice-cubes
2 tsp lemon juice
1 pinch of rock salt
Pepper powder.
For Garnishing: Some mint leaves.
Method:
Mix all the juices together. Add sugar, ice-cubes, salt and pepper. Garnish with mint leaves and serve.
2. Summer Magic
Ingredients:
Watermelon (enough to make 200ml juice)
Pomegranate (enough to make 200ml juice)
Mint leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp lemon juice
Crushed ice.
For Garnishing: 1 tsp aniseed (roasted).
Method: In a tall glass, place the crushed ice at the bottom. Pour the juices, lemon juice and mint leaves. Garnish with aniseed and serve.
3. Screwdriver
Ingredients:
250 ml orange juice
1 tsp lemon rind (chopped)
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp Tabasco sauce
Crushed ice
Lemon wedges
Method: Rim a tall glass with salt refrigerate for one hour. Add crushed ice at the bottom of the glass and pour the orange juice, lemon juice, lemon rind and the Tabasco sauce. Serve with lemon wedges.
4. Lime Cooler
Ingredients:
200 ml sweet lime juice (mosambi)
Rock salt
Pepper powder
Crushed ice.
For Garnishing: 3-4 basil leaves.
Method: Place the crushed ice in the bottom of the glass. Mix salt and pepper to the juice. Pour over the ice. Garnish with basil leaves and serve.
5.Lime and Lemony
Ingredients:
400ml Sprite/ lemonade
1 tsp chaat masala
1tsp sugar syrup
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger juice
2 lemon leaves.
Method:
Place ice-cubes in a glass. Add all the ingredients. Serve with lemon leaves on top.
6.Yoghurt and Pomegranate Mock tail
Ingredients:
400ml yoghurt
1 tbsp pomegranate seeds
Sugar cubes
A pinch of rock salt
Ice-cubes.
For Garnishing: a pinch of cumin powder (roasted)
Method: Blend the ice-cubes, yoghurt and the sugar till frothy. Add the pomegranate and the rock salt. Garnish with cumin powder and serve.
