Eastern America the war ended by a treaty signed on 1814 and
came to be known as Treaty of Ghent, But General Andrew Jackson
not aware of tthis treaty defeated the british at New Orleans on
January 8, 1815 there was 2000 casualties.
Civil War : This war fought from 1861 to 1865 in the
Eastern half of presenr America this war ended after the
Confederate surrender at Appomatox and this war resulted 620,000
casualties.
Spanish American War : This war was fought from April 25
1898 to August 12, 1898 and the war ended by Treaty Of Paris.
More than 5000 soldiers were killed in this battle
World War I : This war started in 1914 and lasted till
1918 and was mainly fought in Europe, the war ended with a
treaty between Germany and allied forces in 1918 and this treaty
was known as Treaty of Versailles and more than 100,000 American
laid their lives in this battle.
World War II : This war is the most dreaded war fought ever
originally started in 1939 in Europe, America joined this war in 1941
and the war ended in 1945 though the war started in Europe later it
migrated to North Africa, Asia, Pacific islands including Hawaii,
Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The war came to an end when Japan
surrendured after Hirosima & Nagasaki was bombed the war caused America
more than 400,000 brave man.
Korean War : This war was fought between 1950 and 1953 in North
and South Korea the war reached a stalemate in June 1951 and an arms
treaty was reached on July 27, 1953 and there was 54,200 American
casualties.
Vietnam War : This war was a bitter experience for America fought
during 1954 to 1975 in Vietnam and the war ended in a Vietnamese win in
1975 more than 100,000 soldiers lost their lives.
Gulf War : This war was fought in Iraq and Kuwait during August
1990 - April 1991 in which America & Allied forces defeated Iraq and
declared victory and cease-fire on April 9,1991.
