Beverley Mitchell - Detailed Biography
Beverley
Anne Mitchell was born in Arcadia, California on January 22, 1981 to David, an
auto racing promoter, and Sharon, an office manager. Like other television
veterans, Beverly started her acting career at a young age of 5. She was spotted
by an agent having a temper tantrum with her Mom in the middle of a shopping
mall. At the age of 4, Mitchell got her first break appearing in an Oscar Meyer
commercial. Other commercials she appeared in were Cream of Wheat, Iron Kids B
read, Energizer batteries, and Disney videos. She has been working steadily ever
since in both television and film. Beverley Mitchell made her TV debut with a
guest appearance on the NBC soap, Days of Our Lives. It wasn't long before she
made the leap to primetime; her numerous credits include appearances on Melrose
Place, Baywatch, Quantum Leap, and the sitcom, Phenom, starring Judith Light.
Mitchell also appeared in small, independent features such as 1994's Killing
Obsession as well as made-for-TV movies such as the 1992 miniseries Sinatra (as
young Nancy) and 1995's White Dwarf. Shortly after she was on the WB as one of
the fresh faces of the hit "7th Heaven" (1996). While busy with the show,
Beverley graduated from high school in 2000 and is currently attending Loyola
Maramount University where she is studying film, she also actively participates
in RADD Kids and KMART Kids Race Against Drugs charities, among others. While
active on her show she also starred in the independent short film Mean People
Suck (2001).
