Michalka, credited as Aly Michalka (born March 25, 1989 in Torrance, California,
USA) is an American actress and a singer-songwriter best known for her role on
Phil of the Future as Keely Teslow.
Michalka started acting when she was five years old. Her debut came when she
received the part of Keely Teslow in Disney Channel's Phil of the Future.
Michalka later starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Now You See It...,
in which she plays Allyson Miller, an ambitious television producer who is
trying to find the next great young magician. She has a younger sister, Amanda
Michalka, who is also an actress. Alyson and Amanda enjoy writing songs, which
landed them a record deal with Hollywood Records. Many of their songs have been
featured in movies and television shows: "Do You Believe in Magic?" from the
Disney Channel Original Movie Now You See It, "No One" from Ice Princess,
"Protecting Me" from Phil of the Future, "Walking On Sunshine" from Herbie:
Fully Loaded, and "Rush" from the Disney Channel Original Movie Twitches.
