Make time for
getting big tasks done every day, Plan your daily work load
in advance. Single out the relatively few small jobs that
absolutely must be done immediately in the morning. Then go
directly to the big task, try to pursue them to completion.
-- Boardroom Reports
Don't be
fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the
year as you make use of. One man gets only a week's value
out of a year while another man gets a full year's value out
of a week.
-- Charles Richards
There is here
no measuring with time, no year matters, and ten years are
nothing. Being an artist means, not reckoning and counting,
but ripening like the tree which does not force it's sap and
stands confident in the storms of Spring without the fear
that after them may come no Summer. It does come. I learn it
daily, learn it with pain to which I am grateful…
-- Rainer Maria Rilke
1875-1926, German Poet
Once you have
mastered time, you will understand how true it is that most
people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year --
and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade!
-- Anthony Robbins
